The weather gets pretty chilly during the fall in Montreal so I've been taking advantage of wearing skirts and dresses while I still can. Of course I paired my skirt with knee high socks so that I don't freeze half to death. I recently bought this scarf and have abused wearing it already; I love the double pattern concept of it. I just threw on my black leather (well I like to pretend it's real leather) jacket that I got from Topshop. It came with a detachable white shearling collar which has sadly turned pale yellow... not so chic. Nonetheless, I will forever love this jacket since Aria from Pretty Little Liars has the same one. Yes, I do get excited when I see television characters with the same clothes as me. 

P.S. If you don't have a little black jacket in your wardrobe, get one now because it's definitely a fall wardrobe essential!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons because I get to layer up and dress comfortably. One of my most worn pieces during this time of year are turtlenecks; I have an abundant amount overflowing in my closet. The jean jacket that I'm wearing belonged to my mom but I fell in love with it and decided to adopt it. I added the leopard detailing on the collar from a maxi dress that I had thrifted and cut. Although leopard isn't a print that I enjoy all that much I still believe that every girl needs a bit of it in her wardrobe!

My boyfriend recently got a Pentax K1000 and wanted to take some shots of me. I think his photographs turned out awesome and I love them all. Cold weather is coming so quickly here in montreal. Last week I was in shorts and a tee and now I'm all layered up in plaid and camo.

This weekend I went up north to my cottage expecting to spend my time there relaxing on the beach and boating... but it felt like we skipped a few months straight to October! So instead of wearing the summer clothes I had packed I ended up in this super casual and cozy outfit. I never thought I'd be wearing a warm outfit like this mid August but it was freezing and pouring. Luckily there's a cute village near the cottage so my sister and I spent a bit of time there.
